Puzzled about why Microsoft Word is reformatting text without your consent? Getting mysterious error messages when trying to send email, navigate a website, or print a file? Going crazy trying to find a file you were working on just the other day? Overwhelmed with your new digital camera and wondering how to deal with your huge photo library?
DON'T DESPAIR! Spend an hour or two in a focused tutorial with me and save yourself countless hours of frustration, wasted time and dead ends. Don't let your computer run you ragged -- instead work smarter and make the most of your Mac investment.
You'll accomplish your regular tasks more efficiently, learn to do things you never thought were possible, and in general be more productive using your Mac.
If you're planning on purchasing a new MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro, iPhone or iPod, pre-purchase consulting with me can be helpful to choose the hardware and software that best meets your needs.
An Apple Certified Support Professional, I can help you set up your new Mac or iPhone, and peripheral devices (printer, scanner, hard drive, digital camera, etc.), build a network for your home or office, and get you online via cable, dial-up, wireless -- you name it. I cover basic introduction, customizing and optimizing your system, organizing your files, installing and learning applications, and troubleshooting -- and I’ll teach you loads of tips, techniques and shortcuts to make using your Mac more productive and enjoyable.
I can create personalized cheat sheets that explain any procedure in a way you understand, and to which you can refer after our session.
I work with you as a tutor/trainer at your home or office, in metropolitan New York City. After one or more sessions at your location, I can also offer ongoing coaching and support via telephone and remote screen sharing, an application that allows me to work with you while at my office -- from extended training sessions to brief calls that focus on one or two tasks at hand. For your independent study, I'll recommend reading materials and tutorials -- online, in print, and in video.
